Biography

I have been exposed to minerals and precious stones since childhood thanks to my father, who is a passionate geologist and introduced me to this field.

Together we visited many sites of minerals in the Czech Republic, including the world-famous Moldavites.

Later, in 1998-2001, I studied stone cutting in Turnov - a town that has a rich history and tradition of gemstone and jewellery processing in our country. Here I cut my first faceted stones and I knew I wanted to continue in the field to the fullest.

In 2001, I began working in my father's family business, a full service gemstone cutting business for jewelers and goldsmiths. Here, during my fifteen years of practice, I gained a great deal of additional valuable experience in cutting techniques and also began working with very expensive raw materials. In 2016 I started my own company, where I mainly focus on precision faceting of natural stones. In my work I place great emphasis on maximizing the optical properties of the material. I strive to develop my own diagrams for original design and thus continuously improve in the field.
